A huge welcome back to our 4th and 5th-grade families! To our 3rd-grade families and new families to ECS, we are so grateful that you are joining our ECS Intermediate family. We are focused on creating a welcoming and student-centered environment for all of our stakeholders and are thrilled to start the first day of school with each of you on Tuesday, August 22nd. Upon your arriving and entering the Intermediate School, you will see many improvements to both our internal and external spaces.
We also welcome Mr. Keiterez Bynum to the ECS team as the Intermediate School Assistant Principal. Mr. Bynum earned his master’s in educational administration from Point Park University and has more than 10 years of experience working with youth in a variety of positions including assistant principal at Pittsburgh Public Schools. Through his experiences as a Dean of Students, Culture Coach, and Activities Coordinator, Mr. Bynum is dedicated to building meaningful relationships and fostering spaces that forge a path to development and growth for all students.
