High School August Newsletter (22–23)

Dear High School Families,

I am beyond excited to welcome students into our building in the near future! We have been working diligently with staff to prepare the facilities, build rigorous and engaging curricula, and ensure the safety and well-being of our students. Though I have only been with the high school for a month, I don’t think I have ever felt more prepared for a school year. I look forward to getting to know each family and building lasting relationships as well as ensuring we work together to grow citizens.

We look forward to telling you more about new activities and programs in the coming weeks. Please join us at this year's Meet and Greet which will take place at the High School on August 15 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. We are also asking parents to join their students for the first hour, 8–9 a.m., of their half days on Wednesday, August 17 (freshman), Thursday, August 18 (sophomores), and Friday, August 19 (juniors). If you are unable to attend the daytime sessions, we are also offering an evening session from 5–6 p.m. on Thursday, August 18.  For now, I am overjoyed to be a new addition to the ECS team. Please take a look at the information below as you dive into this new school year and reacquaint yourself with the beginning of the school year to-dos.

Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Kari Vissichelli
High School Principal
