PAAR's Free Back to School Wellness event

We are excited to announce that PAAR’s Child and Family Counseling Center (CFCC) will host a FREE BACK TO SCHOOL WELLNESS EVENT on Sunday, August 21 from 1– 4 p.m. at the Circuit Center in Pittsburgh’s Southside neighborhood.

The Child and Family Counseling Center’s Back to School Wellness Event will engage not only PAAR’s clients and their families, but also children and families in the greater community.  Those attending the event will have the opportunity to participate in wellness and self-care activities, as well as learn about healthy habits for the new school year. Messages of holistic wellness, consent, self-confidence, and self-care will be present, and families will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with other community providers and resources.  Children, parents, and caregivers will be provided free school supplies, backpacks, hygiene products, and much more!  Food will also be provided.
