Primary School Dec. Newsletter (21–22)

Dear Primary School Families,

As the frosty air settles in during this time of year, I try to remind everyone that time outside is still a huge benefit for our children. Our children need time outside, time to explore, and time to play. We need to bundle them up to spend time outside for recess, hikes, and classes. Please send your child to school with weather-appropriate clothing. We have extra hats and gloves from a PCO mini-grant last year (THANK YOU PCO). If your child needs a hat or gloves, they can come to the office or check-in with their teacher. We will have abbreviated time outdoors if the “feels like” temperature drops below 25 degrees. Here is an article from the PA Department of Health discussing the importance of outdoor play even in cold weather. Have an amazing December and holiday season!

Take care, get outside, and play,

Ashley Bergman

3. Use white 8.5 x 11″ computer paper only.
4. Be neat, and more importantly, BE CREATIVE!
5. Make sure you include the school name (ECS or Environmental Charter School), 2021-2022, and K-5 Yearbook in your cover design.
