Important Winter Break Schedule Change
Dear ECS Families,
As we continue to immerse ourselves in the holiday season, ECS acknowledges the stress, challenges, and exhaustion that many of us feel due to the ongoing pandemic, and we understand how precious time is, especially around the holidays. With that being said, I, along with the Board of Trustees have decided to extend the Winter Break by two days to allow both students and staff to re-energize, relax, unwind, and spend some well deserved time off celebrating with family and friends.
Winter Break is now scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 22–Jan. 2 with staff and students returning on Monday, Jan. 3.
ECS understands that this change may be difficult and wanted to provide families adequate time to make arrangements for this two-day extension. At ECS, we believe in good health and wellbeing as a foundational element in our education process. It is our hope that this extension will benefit both staff and families by promoting a healthy, rejuvenated entry into the new year while preparing students for the continuation of learning as we journey forward into 2022.
