#ECSCares Volunteer Sign Up Deadline
Dear ECS Stakeholders,
The deadline to sign up for an #ECSCares Day Volunteer site is quickly approaching on Friday, May 31. As a reminder, #ECSCares Day is Thursday, June 13 from 9–11 a.m., and students’ participation counts towards their attendance for the last day of school. For more information, please review my communication sent on April 29.
ECS recognizes that not all students can participate at volunteer sites. Any students who are unable to volunteer on-site must volunteer at home or in their community prior to the last day of school. Please see the ideas at the end of this communication for ways to get involved! Many of you have already reached out and shared pictures of your student participating in independent volunteering projects and supporting our community. Keep up the amazing work and continue to share it with media@ecspgh.org. 📧
Finally, there are a few sites that could use some additional helping hands. 👐 If you have yet to sign up for a volunteer site and don’t plan to complete #ECSCares Day independently, please consider registering for an opportunity below by Friday, May 31.
Thank you for your commitment to the community and being global citizens! 🌱

Independent Volunteer Opportunities
I recognize that not all of our families are able to participate in #ECSCares Day. Any students who are unable to volunteer on-site are highly encouraged to volunteer at home or in their community. Submit a picture to media@ecspgh.org or post it to social media using #ECSCaresDay2024 to meet the attendance requirement. Below are a few suggestions for independent volunteering opportunities, but you are welcome to choose your own adventure.
