2023 Career Day Professional Volunteers Needed

ECS will host its annual Career Day on Friday, Feb. 10 (grades 6–11) and Friday, Feb. 17 (grades K–5). Help ECS grow citizens and support our students’ career awareness by volunteering your time to speak with classes about your job/career.

This year we are focusing on the UN SDG goal #11 to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. While we focus on non-traditional careers and a diverse representation, we hope to see many different volunteers sign up to showcase any traditional or nontraditional careers!

Presentations are scheduled for 30-minute slots. These 30 minutes include transition times and student Q&A so please plan accordingly to allow time for questions:

  • K–5 presentations should be about 10 minutes long.

  • Presentations for Middle/High School should be about 15-20 minutes.

Please complete the form by Friday, January 13, and expect to hear from counselors by Friday, Jan. 27 to confirm your presentation times/schedule. Counselors will do their best to accommodate your preferences.
