Student SDG Exploration
At ECS, our mission is to grow citizens who are ready to join the global community to protect people and our planet. Last year, ECS made a commitment to incorporate the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into our work, teaching, and activities. Throughout the months of March and April, students will have an opportunity to dig into the SDGs by participating in the SDG Exploration. Explorations are enrichment opportunities open to all students, allowing them to grapple with new ideas, concepts, and content while challenging them to think and express themselves in their own unique ways.
Primary and Intermediate school students are invited to follow the SDG Exploration Calendars in March and April. Each day is filled with resources and activities for each Sustainable Development Goal.
Middle School Students will spend March exploring the SDG Resource Library, taking action, and keeping an SDG Activist Journal. In April, students will dig deeper into one of the SDGs as a Creator, Changemaker, or Curious Scholar.
Look out for more updates and opportunities throughout the next two months!
For additional support and activities, students may choose to attend the live Enrichment Exploration Workshops. Check the VLP for links to the live workshops!
