Listening Session Update–CEO Succession Planning Team
From the desk of Adam Tobias, ECS Board of Trustees President and the CEO Succession Planning Team
The CS Team and OnRamps engaged in collaborative listening sessions to gather insights and talk with stakeholders across our ECS system. Sessions including:
6 listening sessions with K–12 staff, operations team members, and administrators.
4 one-on-one interviews with board members and senior leaders.
4 listening sessions with the parent community.
2 listening sessions with the Board of Trustees (with one to still be scheduled).
Additionally, OnRamps received numerous Listening Tour Questionnaire submissions from our community, with 67% of those from our parent community. OnRamps will review the sessions' trends and the submitted answers, and then, adapt this context to the vetting process and leadership profile for our next CEO.
OnRamps will continue to accept candidates’ applications throughout March, conduct initial screenings, and make recommendations to the CS Team. The CS Team will conduct the first and second rounds of interviews in April, and final candidates will be invited to visit with the ECS community in late May or early June.
Our next community communication will occur at the end of March, and include insights about market response, listening session themes, and other updates to the timeline.
