High School March Newsletter (21–22)

Dear High School Families,

Winter is flying by and spring is only a few weeks away. I am looking forward to what is on the horizon like longer days and warmer weather. As an avid hiker, I’m excited to get outdoors with my family for fun hikes at some of our favorite local trails while during the school day, classes will begin to move outside to enjoy all that spring has to offer.

This is also the time of year to reflect and review student progress. Families, please take the time to review your student’s first semester grades in Alma to keep track of their progress. We will begin reaching out soon with any concerns we have about student progress thus far in the school year.

March is also Women’s history month. We will highlight the contributions of women for their accomplishments throughout history and in today’s society. Please take the time to thank the women in your life for all they have done for you. I’m wishing you and your family a happy spring.

Best,

Cornell McCree

Student Resources Padlet
With so many exciting opportunities to share with our students, Ms. Walker and Ms. LP decided to combine forces and catalog those resources in one place: The Student Resources Padlet

If you need any help or have any questions about what you see, please reach out to Ms. Walker for the College and Career section, or Ms. LP for the ECHS Opportunities section.

CLAW Day
Students will have a CLAW day on Monday, March. 7, 2022. CLAW days are at-home full personal practice days for our high school students. While students are at home learning, teachers will use this time to meet, plan, and continue to build positive school culture. High school students will not have a school that day.
