Dear ECS Families, 

Join ECS for your student’s GreenRoots Sustainability Fair event where sustainability takes center stage! Every day, students take deep dives into innovative, out-the-door education, and the GreenRoots events showcase the ECS community’s commitment to sustainability while promising fun-packed activities in honor of our Earth. Let’s get rooted in the ECS mission together! 

This year’s events feature food tastings and several student projects. With literacy activities planted in book swaps, story walks, and more, ECS is proud to connect the GreenRoots Sustainability Fairs to Title 1 events. 

Additionally, both GreenRoots Sustainability Fairs are official Remake Learning Day (RLD) events! RLD events celebrate innovative learning experiences and encourage youth to embrace curiosity and creativity, becoming life-long learners.

K–5 GreenRoots Sustainability Fair

Friday, May 9, 2025, from 5–7 p.m.

This year's event will feature:

  • 2nd Grade’s We CAN Initiative

  • The Green Team

  • Ms. Amy, Spider Mentor

  • EcoStewards Activities

  • Hula Hoops and Hammocks with Flow Club

  • ECS PCO’s used book and uniform sales→ Donate items here!

  • AND back by popular demand, you'll have the chance to pie a teacher!

Friday, May 16, 2025, from 5–7 p.m.

This year's event will feature:

  • Student presentations from 7th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade

  • 8th Grade Capstone Presentations and Award Ceremony

  • 11th & 12th Grade Scholarship Award Ceremony

  • Bike ECS

  • Robotics Demonstrations

  • ECS PCO’s book swap and activities

  • Sweet Beats from DJ Anomaly
