District COVID-19 Cases (1/14/22)

Dear ECS Families, 

The ECS administration was alerted today of the following positive COVID-19 cases:

• 2 Primary School Students- Close contacts were notified for both cases.

• 1 Staff Member who traveled to both the Primary and Intermediate Schools - It was determined that there were no close contacts. This individual will be added under the Intermediate School Staff cases.  

• 1 Middle School Staff Member- It was determined that there were no close contacts.

The appropriate quarantine and isolation procedures have been taken, and the spaces have undergone nightly deep cleans as a part of our regular cleaning procedures.

• The only individuals that need to quarantine are those who have been personally contacted by ECS as a close contact. If you were a close contact, you would have been notified prior to receiving this communication.

• If the individual was in your student’s grade level or building, your building’s principal has already contacted you via email. 

• HS is scheduled to return to in-person learning on Tuesday, Jan. 18, and 1B will transition to virtual learning starting Tuesday, Jan. 18.
