CEO Succession Planning Team Members

Dear ECS Families and Staff,
I would like to thank everyone for your interest and questions regarding the CEO Succession Planning Team selection process. As I mentioned in my 10/24 Communication, Ms. Elliott and Ms. Sheaffer, the CEO Succession Planning Team Co-Chairs, met with leaders from the following groups to discuss the process and determine representation on the Succession Planning Team:
An ECS Union Representative
A PCO/Parent representative
An ECS administrator and/or Non-Union Staff Member
ECS’s human resources director
An ECS Board of Trustees representative
Today, I am excited to announce the individuals selected for the CEO Succession Planning Team that will join Ms. Elliott and Ms. Sheaffer:
Freida Kinney, Director of HR
Kristan Abeshouse, Operations representative
Michael Aronson, Former board chair
Audrey Rogers, PCO representative and ECS parent
Joe Gleason, ECS union representative and ECS parent
Vicky Hsieh, Senior admin representative
Laura Micco, Principal admin representative
David Turner, Current Board of Trustees representative
Please join me in congratulating the above individuals and thanking them for their willingness to volunteer and assist in this important journey.
In the coming months, this group will convene frequently to determine the next steps, work with a consulting firm that will launch a national CEO search, develop opportunities for community input, and ensure a smooth transition as we welcome a new CEO. I am dedicated to keeping you, our ECS stakeholders, updated as we progress through this work.
