2-Hour Delay: Jan. 27, 2022
Greetings,
Due to expected low temperatures tomorrow, January 27, 2022, Pittsburgh Public Schools has proactively called a two-hour transportation delay. With this affecting a majority of ECS students, all ECS schools will operate on a 2-hour delayed schedule for January 27, 2022. Please have your child report to school or to their bus stop two hours after their scheduled time. If your child is not transported by Pittsburgh Public Schools, please know that no transportation will be provided if your home school district does not choose to delay.
ECS understands that delays may cause a transportation barrier for some families. Please know that the district is working towards an equitable solution for all families and hope to provide alternative in-person instruction for students on certain delay days.
All staff are to report to their assigned buildings as normally scheduled. If there are any changes to this schedule, we will provide an update prior to 5 a.m.
