This course meets the guidelines for Pathways STEM, AMD, & CD.
Advanced technologies allow architects to address climate change by designing a more environmentally friendly built environment, and this course will introduce students to some of the major initiatives in this field (including LEED and WELL certifications) as well as key components in designing and building new structures that are energy efficient and that are minimal in their environmental impact. Students will use our new high school construction as a model and a touchstone for learning as it was designed with these guidelines and priorities.
