Reading, Writing, Analysis Grades 10-12 0.5 Credit
This course meets the guidelines for Pathway AMD.
Throughout the course, they will engage with a variety of reading materials, honing their ability to analyze and evaluate complex ideas. They will develop proficiency in synthesizing information from diverse sources, constructing coherent arguments, and presenting evidence effectively. They will also delve into the process of research, mastering techniques for locating, evaluating, and incorporating credible sources into their writing. Through hands-on exercises, collaborative projects and access to various writers and researchers students will cultivate their own research skills, learning to discern between reliable and unreliable information in an era of abundant digital resources, AI embellishments and misleading information at their fingertips.
By the end of the course, students will emerge as adept researchers and skilled writers, equipped with the tools and confidence to tackle academic challenges and contribute meaningfully to scholarly discourse.
