Journalism Grades 10-12 0.5 Credit
This course meets the guidelines for Pathway CD.
Students in this elective course will learn to write and analyze the traditional core forms of journalism: news stories, feature stories, sports stories, opinion columns, and the editorial. Throughout this process, students will also study how codes of ethics and laws governing the press guide journalistic practice, and students will practice corollary journalistic skills such as copy editing, interviewing, and meeting deadlines.
