FLEX Algebra 1
FLEX Algebra I Grade 9 1 Credit
This course is designed for students with an IEP who need small-group support for mathematics instruction, including specific strategies to help students succeed with concepts covered in the general education setting. In Algebra I, students deepen and extend their understanding of linear equations and inequalities. Topics include patterns, operations with real numbers and expressions, linear equations and inequalities, functions, and data analysis. The course concludes with an exploration of quadratic functions. Students will take the Keystone Algebra exam in the spring.
