This course examines the human impact on our environment and how this affects health and social justice issues. Students will study the mutual relationship between organisms and their environment. Through the study of the interrelationships among plants, animals, and humans-this course covers recycling and regeneration, ecosystems, pollution and conservation of natural resources. Students will also describe sustainable processes and evaluate the impact of those processes on social, environmental and/or economic systems.
