Economics & Equity Grades 10-12 0.5 Credit
This course meets the guidelines for Pathway CD.
This elective course has two main objectives: 1) to introduce students to supply and demand while also providing an overview of key economic concepts like GDP, inflation, unemployment, and taxes, and 2) to analyze economic systems and the realities of life in America through a lens of equity, seeking to help students understand inequality and injustice and to equip them to be advocates for progressive policies that will foster lasting change.
