ECS Board of Trustees February 2024 Recognition
We were pleased to invite the 23–24 High School Girls’ Volleyball team to the February ECS Board of Trustees meeting in recognition of their participation in ECS’s first-ever girls’ varsity sport.
As pioneers of girls’ varsity sports at ECS and with the expertise and support of their amazing coaches, Coach Hannah Berg and Assistant Coach Amanda McAllen, the team has some notable accomplishments:
Throughout the season, the team practiced, improved, and competed in at least 9 matches against rival schools.
The team hosted 4 matches at their home court at the All-American Fieldhouse, Court #4.
One player made the all-star team for the league.
Another player once made 25 serves in a row over the net in practice.
Congratulations on a fantastic season!
Additional highlights from the Feb. 21st board meeting include:
Approving the updated ARP ESSER Health & Safety Plan
Discussing the updated policy review process
Receiving education on the administration of the RK Mellon grant to the ECS Foundation
