  • Dress down days are back! With a new and exciting twist…ECS tentatively marked 14 dress down days to occur twice a month throughout the year. Why tentative? Because we want to use this opportunity to spark support for our  Angel Fund. The Angel Fund assists families who may need some additional support to ensure all students are able to participate 100% in our programs and other offerings throughout the year — events like the 8th grade field trip, Mckeever, or other activities with associated fees. The key to unlocking our dress down days for ALL students is in donations from you! Every time we reach $215 in donations, we will unlock another day for students to dress out of uniform.  Not sure what to give?  Suggested donation is $15 (about a dollar a dress down day for the whole year!), but every dollar counts.  And the best part? All students benefit from a dress down day regardless of donation/payment.  Ready to take the challenge?  Log into Schoolcafe, skip to the “district items” tab, and make your donation – $5 minimum. This payment will not be accounted to your cafeteria account! You can also write a check to ECS (Angel Fund/dress down in the memo). No cash will be accepted for this fundraiser – this is a change from previous years! Thanks for making our dress down days a more equitable, school-wide celebration!
  • ECS High School and Additional K-8 Winter Update: Please review the updated information regarding ECS’s work to expand to an additional K-8 and high school.  Please contact Nikole Sheaffer for more information.
  • 1/2 Days for Students: Dismissal time at Upper School is 11:30. Dismissal time for Lower School is 11:45. *Just a reminder that as students eat lunches in classrooms on 1/2 days, all ECS classrooms remain peanut/tree nut free.  All packed lunches must be free of these items.*
