  • Update from ECS Clubs. Winter Clubs coming soon! For a sneak peek of offerings visit here. ECS is now offering two ski clubs for our 6-8 graders. A Varsity for our experienced skiers and Jr Varsity for the beginners. Review both options before enrolling in ski club. Watch for the December 4th Monday Blast to enroll in Varsity Ski Club.

    All other Winter Clubs will have open enrollment in the December 18th Monday Blast.

  • Thursday, November 30th. Equity and Diversity at ECS. 6-7 p.m., Upper School Cafe. We invite all families to join us for a share out and discussion around equity and diversity (E&D). Learn about the steps we’ve taken as an institution to nurture an equitable and diverse community, and how this connects to ECS’s overarching mission and vision. Dr. Temple Lovelace, an equity, social justice, and special education researcher and consultant from Duquesne University, as well as members of our E&D team, will be available to help answer questions and guide the discussion. Childcare will be provided.  Please RSVP here, or submit a question for discussion.
  • If you have not made your Field Trip 17-18 payment for your child(ren), please access your SchoolMint account and complete the payment through Paypal.
  • On Friday, December 1, GSSU (Gender Sexuality Student Union) and Stand Together will be hosting a Snowball Dance for middle school. The theme of the dance is “Stronger Together,” and it will be from 6-8pm in the Upper School Cafe. The permission form is due this Tuesday, November 21. The dance will cost $2 to enter and will include food, a bracelet, drinks, music, and more! Additional donations are welcome. All students in attendance are expected to stay in the building on the main floor of the school. Families of children who go to the dance are asked to pick up their child at 8 pm in the Cafe.
