ECS After School Clubs and Athletics

ECS Clubs and Athletics: Do. Think. Move. Learn!

Clubs and teams are a fantastic way to extend the ECS experience –and to have a lot of fun!  Several sessions run throughout the year, with various offerings.

Upper School Clubs (fall 2017):

Upper School VEX IQ Robotics: Grades 5-8 – Fully enrolled, contact Mr. Stehouwer to be placed on the waiting list

Upper School Create Club: Grades 6-8 – grades -8


Lower School Clubs (fall 2017):

Lower School Morning Energize Club: Grades 1-3

Lower School Gateway to the Arts “The Studio”: Grades K-3

Lower School Mad Science presents Minerals, Machines, and Movies: Grades K-3 


Additional Athletic Clubs (fall 2107):

Thank you for participating in Cross Country and Tennis.  Watch for more opportunities this winter. Stay informed by subscribing to the Monday Blast.  


Financial information

No family will be turned away due to limited resources. If your family qualifies for free and reduced lunch you will automatically have the Clubs and Athletics fees waived. If your family does not qualify for free and reduced lunch, but you also need financial assistance please email clubs@ecspgh.org.

Club participation guidelines

Parents/guardians are welcome to enroll their child in multiple clubs per session. ECS club registration operates on a first come, first served basis with no lottery. Enrollment closes when the club have reached capacity.  If you need additional support please email clubs@ecspgh.org.

Athletics participation guidelines

Parents/guardians, to assure that all children who want to participate in athletics have that opportunity, there is a 1-sport per season limit. Meaning that your child will not be permitted to play multiple ECS sports at the same time. Also, in order to have a completed application for athletic participation, you and your child(ren) will need to review, sign and submit the Athletic’s Consent to Participate & Code of Conduct. Signed documents can be emailed to the athletic director and club coordinator, Aaron Coleman
