Whole Child

 Whole Child Services

Health and well-being have, for too long, been put into silos—separated both logistically and philosophically from education and learning. Schools, however, are the perfect setting for a collaboration between academic life, wellness and health, and developing plans for the road ahead.

ECS’s whole-child approach to education expands the focus from narrowly defined academic achievement to one that promotes the long-term development and success of the whole child.

ECS embraces and invests in a healthy school lunch program and a staff of counselors, nurses, and support services at each school.  Additionally, ECS supports all efforts in designing and promoting for green and healthy policies and practices to enhance all people entering our schools or enjoying our spaces.
